JUNIORS In
an effort to get junior players involved in tournaments, the Board of Directors
have decided upon the following action. The PSRA will pay the entry fee of any
junior that competes in a PSRA sanctioned event during the 2006/07 season. On
top of that, any junior that plays in at least three events, one of them being
State Singles, will receive a Team PA wearable. We realize that these days kids
have more activities available to them and that racquetball is not exactly on
the radar screen. The only way to get them going is a junior clinic at the local
club, or their parents. Since the parents are ultimately responsible for the
time and expense of travel, this hopefully will take out some of the bite. LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS If you love racquetball and want to play a part developing racquetball in the state of Pennsylvania, then look no further. The PSRA is looking for a few good men or women to join our ranks. You don’t even have to join the board to help out. If you want to become a board member, or have something to offer, contact me at 3barretts@comcast.net. GET ON THE LIST The PSRA is trying to develop an e-mail list of all members for the purpose of providing news and information quickly and efficiently. The current list is large ,but there are many of you whose e-mail addresses we don’t have. If you have not received an e-mail bulletin in the last month, you are not on the list.
