Pennsylvania has a rich tradition of racquetball excellence dating back
to the late 70s up to the present time. In the early 80s we ranked third in
USRA participation and remain in the top ten to this day. The state has
produced numerous regional, national and professional champions. We have
produced individuals who have become leaders and contributors to our sport
on a national level. The Pennsylvania Racquetball Hall of Fame was started
to honor those individuals for their high-level of service and play and to
ensure that their legacy be appreciated now and forever. This award will be
given out at the state singles tournament annually.
The objective of the Hall of Fame is to recognize and honor those
individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in many areas of
the sport. Those areas include but are not limited to playing ability,
sportsmanship, leadership, and development. The award is based upon years of
consistent excellence in one or more of these areas.
